What it does
The season, dated and shared
A fixture in Athra is a record, not a calendar entry. It carries the team it belongs to, the date and the opposition, and it is the object that availability answers attach to, that a squad gets selected against, and that the match record is written on afterwards.
Because it is one record, the club stops maintaining parallel copies. There is no spreadsheet for the coaches, a second one for the fixtures secretary and a group chat message that contradicts both. When a fixture moves, it moves for everyone who can see it.

Season

Fixtures are held against the team, not against a person, so an age grade and a senior side can run their own seasons inside the same club without two systems.

Notifications
A notification that lands somewhere
Fixture notifications open the fixture they are about rather than dropping people on a home screen, and every person controls what they are notified about from their own settings.

Being straight about the edges: fixtures themselves are sport-agnostic and always have been. It is the selection board that currently knows two sports, rugby and netball. A fixture list runs the same way whichever sport is on it.
