For coaches

Selection to team sheet in minutes. The rest of the week does itself.

Availability arrives before you chase it, the side gets picked on a board rather than on paper, and the reminders go out without you sending them.

A coaching week

Monday to Saturday

Nothing here is new work. It is the work you already do, with the chasing taken out of it.

Monday

Availability comes to you

The fixture goes out with an availability request attached. Players answer in the app, parents answer for younger ones, and you open a list that is already filled in instead of counting replies in a group chat.

  • Availability request
  • Answers by player

Thursday

Pick the side on the selection board

The board shows the squad against the shirt numbers, with availability and squad depth alongside. Move a player, fill the bench, and the side is picked in one screen rather than on paper.

  • Selection board
  • Squad depth
  • Bench

Friday

Publish the team sheet once

The published team sheet is what players and parents see. Nobody has a screenshot of an older version, because there is only one version and it is the one in the app.

  • Team sheet
  • One source

Saturday

Kick-off reminders go out on their own

Selected players get a notification before kick-off that opens straight to the fixture. You are not the reminder service any more.

  • Deep links to the fixture

After the whistle

The record that feeds the next selection

Minutes, load and injuries are only useful if they live where you pick sides. They do.

Match record

Minutes, by player, every match

Record the match and the minutes land on each player's season. That is the number the workload view runs on, so it has to come from the same place you already do the job.

  • Squad match record
  • Per-player record
  • Season view

Workload

Who is carrying too much

Squad workload across the group, and a load detail view per player. A boy playing school on Wednesday and club on Sunday shows up as one workload, not two half-pictures.

  • Squad workload
  • Player load

Injuries and HIA

The record that should stop a selection

Injury and head injury assessment history sits on the player's record, in the app you pick sides in. A coach picking a team sees what a physio recorded rather than remembering a conversation.

  • Injury history
  • HIA history
  • Visible at selection

Notes and messages

Coach notes stay with the coaches

Coach notes are scoped to the roles that should read them. Player and parent messages arrive in a coach inbox the club can see, so a safeguarding-sound conversation is also the convenient one.

  • Coach inbox

Why it matters

You are not the database

A coach ends up holding the club's memory: who is injured, who has not paid, who said they could not make the twenty-second. None of that should live in one person's head or one person's phone. Put it in the club record and it survives you moving up an age group.
