The sports club operating system
Eight modules. One club record underneath all of them.
Athra is not a fixture list with extras bolted on. It is the operating system a club or a school sport programme runs on, and every module reads the same people, the same teams and the same permissions.
System modules
Every module is live in the app today. Pick one to see what it actually does.
The readout, in words
What each module is for
Short version first. The module page carries the detail, including where a claim is narrower than it sounds.
01 Fixtures
The season goes in once. Every team, every player and every parent then reads the same fixture list, and a fixture is the thing the rest of the system hangs off: availability, selection, the team sheet and the match record all open from it.
02 Selection
Pick from the people who said they can play, not from a list of everyone. The selection board builds the squad, the team sheet publishes it, and each player can see their own selection without reading anyone else's.
03 Availability
Players and families answer per fixture, in the app, before anyone has to chase a group chat. Coaches and the roles allowed to run availability see the picture for the whole squad on one screen.
04 Subs
A record of where every player stands: membership chosen, instalment schedule, and current status. Families see what is owed for their own children. Athra records and shows the position, it does not process money.
05 Safeguarding
Access is enforced per record rather than promised in a policy. Guardians are linked to children, a parent reaches their own children and no one else's, and the club has a screen for the approvals and guardian work that goes with it.
06 Messaging
A conversation about a player sits on that player's thread, where the coach and that player's own family can both see it. Club-wide and team-level announcements, the news feed, the gallery and team documents sit alongside it.
07 Workload
Minutes played build up across the season into a load picture per player and across the squad. Coaches, the physio and the club owner can see it, and each player can see their own.
08 Records
The match record is the permanent one: results, minutes, injuries and head injury assessments against the individual player, carried through the season alongside registration and coach notes.
The system is sport-agnostic where it can be and specific where it has to be. Selection and squad depth know rugby and netball today, because those are the two sports with real clubs on the platform. Fixtures, availability, subs records, messaging, workload and safeguarding do not care which sport you play.
